Long intake pipes create smooth air flow into the engines resulting in greater power output. Offset driveshafts and two-stage gearboxes allow for even slimmer profiles. Hydrodynamic gear casings allow the engines to accelerate faster due to reduced drag through the water. And the outstanding performance is matched by clean operation with significantly reduced emissions which meet the Ultra-Low Emissions 3 Star rating from the California Air Resources Board.

Primarily four strokes these days, Suzuki engines are still available in tried and tested two stroke configuration. The advantages of lighter motors with higher power to displacement ratios haven’t been abandoned. From 9.9 to 40 HP, traditionalists will still find a model to suit most small boat needs.
