We eat, sleep and breathe boats and fishing... and we know you do too. We were having a chat at the factory the other day about the thousands of passionate Bar Crusher owners that we've dealt with over the past 10 years and all their fantastic fishing and boating adventures.
We thought: "Wouldn't it be a great idea to create a newsletter that would give our customers and prospective customers the opportunity to keep up-to-date with everything that's happening at Bar Crusher and share with everyone what Bar Crusher owners are doing in their boats."

 BAR CRUSHER 760HT NAMED AUSTRALIA'S GREATEST BOAT
Bar Crusher’s 760HT lived up to its reputation as the best boat aluminium boat in the country when it recently won TrailerBoat magazine’s ‘Australia’s Greatest Boats 2010’. In a tough shoot-out, conducted by Australia’s most respected boat testers, against a host of other boat brands, the 760HT really stood out from the pack. A few comments from some of the judges:

LIMITED EDITION 560C APACHE MARKS 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
 Celebrating 10 years of success, Bar Crusher has released a limited edition version of its most popular model, the 560C. With just 50 to be built, Bar Crusher's 560C Apache is built on the same hull that is considered by knowledgeable boaters as the perfect all-round boat for Australian conditions. The 560C Apache features a distinctive colour scheme – black sides and US Aircraft Grey top decks, cabin and interior – deluxe seats are fitted as standard, and the cabin, roof and rear cockpit have all been lined to make the boat stealthily quiet. Inline with the 560C Apache's combative appearance, the custom-built, fully-galvanised Easytow trailer is painted black (to match the hull) and features low-profile mag wheels, along with an upgraded winch and jockey wheel. Rated to carry a 115-150hp outboard, the 560C Apache's superior performance capabilities, 150L fuel capacity and spacious cabin configuration make it ideal for offshore fishing expeditions with mates or estuary adventures with the family.
MAXIMUM-STRENGTH 620HT
 As the smallest model in Bar Crusher's Hard Top range, the new 620HT has been built with maximum strength to take bigger boats to task in the toughest of conditions. Constructed from heavy duty, pre-stressed 5mm (bottom sides) and 4mm (top sides) marine grade plate aluminium, this super-tough trailerable rig follows in the footsteps of every Bar Crusher to deliver the smoothest ride of any aluminium boat on the market. Measuring 6.80m LOA with a 2.35m beam, the latest Hard Top model features a specially-designed dash to accept the larger screen marine electronics displays. Rated to carry a 175hp outboard, the 620HT's superior performance capabilities, 200L fuel capacity, huge cockpit fishing area, heavy-duty treadplate deck, optional anchor winch and forward bunks are just a few reasons why this new Bar Crusher is quickly earning a reputation as one of the most versatile Hard Top trailerable sportsfishing boats in its class.
NEW 500CR MAKES WAVES
 Bar Crusher's 500CR is the first model in the new Wave Crusher Series, which reflects the company's strategy of offering versatile ‘crossover' boats to cater to a broader market. The Wave Crusher concept applies the superior engineering offered in the well-known Bar Crusher models in a range of smaller boats at very attractive prices. The 500CR (Cuddy / Runabout) measures 5.20m LOA with a 2.15m beam. Constructed from high-tensile (4mm bottom sides and 3mm top sides) marine grade plate aluminium, this exciting new boat incorporates Bar Crusher's unique Waveslicer™ smooth-riding hull and expertly-engineered Rigideck™ sub-floor system for maximum hull strength. The 500CR has a small cuddy cabin for protection from the elements, forward bunks and quality helm seating mounted on storage boxes. With a toughened glass windscreen, removable baitboard, welded-in treadplate floor and a super strong transom design, the 500CR offers quality and engineering not seen in other boats in this price range. Rated to carry up to a 90hp outboard together with a 90L fuel capacity, the boat is ideally suited to family anglers who want to chase snapper on the bay one day; trout on a lake another; bottom bouncing a reef or trolling lures offshore the next; then enjoy a day towing the kids on a wakeboard / ski tube. It’s easily towed by a family sedan and has the compact versatility to be stored in an average garage.
